Whether it is a new location or replacing an existing system, Harrod Ball stop systems are suitable for training grounds at all levels. All of our products are prototyped, developed and built to professional standards in East Anglia.
Strong, durable, quality
Harrod Ball stop systems are made with 3mm steel to ensure strength and longevity. Crowd Protection systems also include a winch system to allow the netting to be raised and lowered with ease.
It is recommended that professional contractors or the local council are contacted to install your system.
From refining designs and materials to improving safety, portability and easy storage, Harrod has prided itself on innovation for over 60 years.
All Harrod ball stop systems are designed to conform to the latest safety standards.
"Harrod manufactured Ball stop systems are used at all levels of sport including by Premier League clubs Arsenal and Leicester City."
Which size do I need?
Crowd Protection Ball Stop Systems are ideal for pre-match stadium warm ups. All systems are 5m high and available in the following lengths:
Pitch division systems are ideal for football training grounds, academies and other venues requiring divides between grass pitches. They are available with the following spans:
Each system is supplied with the required number of 50mm aluminium uprights and meshed sleeve netting with a bottom band to make installation simple.
It is recommended that posts and turf screw sockets are spaced at 10m intervals.
Individual steel perimeter poles and 2.5mm polyethylene black surround netting are available for bespoke sized training areas. To calculate how many posts you will require, divide the length of the area to cover by 5.5m and then add one extra pole.
If properly maintained, posts can last for years, but general wear could reduce the life of your posts and netting.
To protect against this, regular maintenance is essential. This includes regular checks for fixtures and fittings and the use of maintenance paint if posts become scuffed. All Harrod posts are supplied with maintenance information.
Harrod produce a wide range of ball stop solutions for use by a range of clubs and schools. Take a look at our range to find the right type for your facilities.
