Gus Brinded brings to a close his 46 year career at Harrod UK
Gus Brinded, Purchasing Buyer for Harrod UK Ltd, has retired as of the 30th September 2020, bringing to an end 46 years of continuous service.
"Gus has been a fantastic employee and has contributed not only on a day to day basis but also with some wonderful ideas over the years that have helped the business grow" commented Stephanie Harrod, Managing Director.
After a long and successful career, Gus is looking forward to a relaxing retirement where he is excited to spend more time with his family including his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Gus, who started his career working several roles within the main factory, moved to office life after 15 years and has never looked back. He then focused the remainder of his time specialising in purchasing.
When asked about his time at Harrod UK Ltd, Gus commented "It has been an absolute pleasure working here and I really have enjoyed my time, I will miss a lot of people and the company, but the time is now right for me to go".
