Customer Service Trainee
Harrod Sport is looking for a motivated and reliable individual to join their growing team as a Customer Service Trainee. This is a great opportunity to kick start a career within this unique and exciting industry.
As a Customer Service Trainee, you will be working within the Sport Customer Services team developing core skills in dealing with customer orders and queries, working with and liaising with key member of the team (and other key people across the business) to gain these skills.
Within this role you will gain exposure to all aspects involved with the day to day running of a fast-developing company.
Gain a good understanding of how to process orders for Sport products and parts.
Shadowing team members to develop core skills on how to answer inbound customer calls and Emails relating to prices, availability of products and progress of orders.
Dealing with administration in relation to product returns, missing parts to be dispatched and following departmental filing processes for documentation storage.
Develop and maintain a high level of understanding of the range of products offered by Harrod sport.
Gain a good understanding of how products are sold through the distribution network and what internal and external customer needs are.
Develop a high level of skill in maintaining the Sports customer service team standards – essentially around telephone & Email response times.
Develop understanding of order targets and how deadlines are met, in line with the company's policies and procedures.
Be flexible around working pattern in line with seasonal variation/customer demands.
Complete training provided by the Company, including appropriate studies in relation to the apprenticeship.
Adhere to all Harrod UK, HR and Health & Safety policies at all times.
Carry out any other duties that are reasonably asked of you in any area of the company.
Harrod Sport are looking for a self-motivated individual to join our small but busy accounts team. This a great opportunity for someone who wants to progress their career in accountancy within our family owned business.
The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, able to multi-task, be adaptable and keen to learn and develop themselves.
Working as part of the accounts and customer services teams, providing support and relief cover to the Accounts Controller by helping to ensure accurate whole company accounts receivable and accounts payable records are kept; including recording details of all monies received into the company and daily preparation of cheque's and cash to be credited to the company's bank account.
Additional duties of the Accounts Assistant include:
Processing petty cash and driver logs
Dealing with telephone calls, credit control and associated administration
Weekly processing of outworker's wages
Responsible for returns, refunds, gift vouchers and direct despatch invoicing
Dealing with email and post communications and liaising with suppliers
